The Prodigal son returns! North Carolina's own, Capitol Recording artist O'Bryan and his band are set to invade Wilmington, NC and kick off Labor Day weekend with an Evening of Pop, Rock and Soul at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater! This will be his first ever performance in the Wilmington area! Come out and enjoy this unprecedented event with Jammin' 99.9 DJ Tommy Gunn as O'Bryan performs some of his classic billboard charting singles like "The Gigolo'", "You and I", "Lady I Love You", "I'm Freaky" and a whole lot more, including songs from his most recent album F1RST. As an accomplished singer, songwriter and musician of 30 years, O’Bryan focuses on what he does best: delivering a soulful music experience. Hailing from Sneads Ferry, N.C., O’Bryan relocated to Santa Ana, Calif., where he was discovered by Melanee Kersey, who referred him to her husband producer Ron Kersey and “Soul Train” creator Don Cornelius. O’Bryan released four albums with Capitol Records, featuring the hit songs “The Gigolo,” “You And I,” “I’m Freaky,” “Soul Train's A Comin,’” Lovelite” and “Lady I Love You.” In addition, O’Bryan released his latest album “F1RST” on his independent label, Headstorm. Highlighted by the songs “Just Like Doin’ It,” “Can I Kiss Your Lips” and “Man Overboard,” fans responded with enthusiastic reviews. And now he's bringing his unique style and soulful voice to music to audiences around the country.
